2nd Anniversary

Two wonderful years together.

Last year we celebrated by going to the Logan Anniversary Inn and stayed in the Pirate room. Well we won a free stay in any room of our choice, So this year we went again.

My dear Sister in law Jen who passed away last year has parents who live in Wellsville near Logan, Mimi and Poppy. They were kind enough to let us stay with them Friday night and Saturday night And they Watched Lydibug for us on Sunday night.

Saturday we went down to Logan and ate at the Crepery which was so delicious and they had these cool chairs to sit on hanging from the ceiling. Next we went to two antique stores and saw some pretty neat and weird things. Our main purpose there was to find an old cowboy gun but they didn't have any. That night we wanted to go to a session at the Temple but we arrived about 5 min too late. Instead we sat on the grounds and watched the sun set. It was Amazing!!!

Sunday after church and dinner we headed to the Anniversary Inn. We stayed the Taj Mahal which is  in a two floor room. The bed was up this magnificent stair case and behind the stairs was a Jetted Tub, Shower, Sink, and the John. The Lighting in the room was dark and dim.
I love going to the Anniversary Inn every time we have gone but mostly this time I have fallen more deeply in love with my hubby. If we could live at the Inn we totally would!!

We watched the Lincoln movie... or at least Mitch did, Last year we ate at IHOP so this year we wanted to as well but it was surprisingly closed when we got there so instead we ate at the only place open which was Rancheritos.
Of the whole room my favorite was the really neat Jetted tub. it had colored Lights and the water fell from a hole in the ceiling!!! Also the tub could dry it'self!

On Monday we went and saw the new movie City of Bones. Which of course I loved it, and after we ate at Buffalo Wild Wings. The whole time missing our little girl.
Well that's the extent of our trip except for when we stopped at the Brigham city Temple to see what it looks like.

Gah can't wait until we can go to Logan again!!!

And a big thanks to Mimi and Poppy for watching our little girl!!!

7 MONTHS

Lydibugs personality is starting to show and she can be quite stubborn sometimes. I find it so funny when she gets frustrated while playing with something and she grunts really loudly and she squeezes the toy.

This past month Lydibug has tried all kinds of different baby foods, Peas, Squash, Sweet Potatoes, Apple sauce, Bananas, Apples, Carrots, Strawberries, Multigrain cereal, I once let her suck on a pickle, and some Lil Crunchies finger food. So far I think her favorite has been the Green Beans and anything Mitchel and I eat.

She has been crawling all over the place!! About two weeks ago she crawled over to my sisters baby bouncer got on her knees and pulled herself to her feet. This past week she seems to love to crawl to things and pull herself to her knees then move to something else and do the same. And obviously we had to lower her crib.

Also recently she has learned to wave goodbye, Usually she does it with both arms and she doesn't wave all the time but the majority of the time. and she says bbbb alot. Lydibug loves her baby signing time videos and she has understood the sign eat for about 2 months now. When we ask her if she wants to eat she replies with a big smile when she is hungry, and if not she looks away and does not smile. We are also teaching her the signs for Bath, More, All Done, and Car.

Kent

Mitchel was sent to Kent Washington for work at the beginning of July, He was working 10 days in a row and 3 days off. Mostly spending all day long at Costco and sometimes at Walmarts. Once at the hotel he would be super busy doing homework. Well after about two and a half weeks they extended his stay and was kind enough to send me.

It was Lydias first time on a plane and she did a great job. Once there my sister Linda picked us up and we spent the day with her until Mitch was able to get off of work. Thankfully my sister let us borrow her car while we were there. Most of the time while we were there we spent the days with my sister and the evenings with Mitch.

Some of the fun things we did while there includes River Days, Soccer camp for the niece and nephew, Shopping, Korean BBQ, Pikes Market (following Mitch as he tried to sell there), Family Portrait, Water fall, Fish Hatchery, Chocolate store, helping Mitch with a school project and more. Our trip ended up being cut short so Mitchel could come back and work in Lindon. Lydia and I flew while Mitchel drove.
