Christmas

Christmas eve we got our Christmas Jammies and I must say I love all of them!

Our Christmas started at about 7:40 a.m. We like to take turns opening gifts so we can see what we all got. Lydibug was not really sure about everything and we mainly had to open her gifts for her. She got two handmade pillows from me, bubble bath, bath toys, dolly, gloves, and a dress.

Mitchel got some great gifts too, some he asked for and some he did not. I surprised him with a BluRay extended addition of The Hobbit. Got him a jacket, electric razor, men in black 3, and phase ten.

Mitchel surprised me with a new cell phone case.... which I found out after opening it that it goes with my new cell phone. He also printed a wedding photo and family photo at work and surprised me with the pictures he picked. He made me cry after opening the last photo by saying he needed a drink of water and came back with three more photos!!!!

Then I was helping Lydibug open a gift from her daddy to find out it was a Wii U!! I gave him this look....

The rest of the day was spent at my mother in laws place. Where lydibug got a push along and ride car, and a toy cell phone. Mitch got the pocket watch he wanted (it is a wind up), jeans, stocking full of candy and smelly goods, a wii u game, and a movie. I got some white boots, jeggings, white jacket, and a calandar, oh and a stocking full of goods.
That evening we had dinner at Mi Ranchitos as is tradition.

What a great holiday!!! It was a really great christmas!!!

11 MONTHS

Lydibug started WALKING!!!!! And I must say i'm liking a walking child better than a crawling one. She accomplished this the day before Thanksgiving. She also has little squeaky shoes that she absolutely LOVES to wear.

Just the past couple weeks two more teeth came in on the top and one on the bottom!

Lydibug can say moma and dada, As well as sign All Done and Please!!! I'm so excited that she started to sign with us. We will have to start teaching her some more signs. She also can point to your nose and eyes when asked.

In the food depot our daughter has tried Spaghettios, Mac n cheese, Chili, Breadsticks, Bananas, Oreos, Grahm Crackers, Rice, Peas, Corn, Muffins, and more.

And last of all she has definitely hit a growth spurt a couple days ago, she certainly looks taller.

Turkey Day

What a fun vacation!

When we arrived in Mesa we just chilled with the Anderson family as well as the following day which was a Sunday.

We played lots of games like hide and seek, shutes and ladders, Guess who, Matching cards, and Dominos with the kiddos, we also did some puzzles. The grown ups loved playing Phase 10.

Almost every evening we had the best home cooked meals, even the sandwiches were heavenly!!

Before Thanksgiving Mitch and I got to go on a date while Vanna watched Lydibug. We drove to Scottsdale where we went to an awesome theater called The IPic Theater. The seats at this place are recliners!! which also came with a little blanket and a pillow. Our waiter came right before Catching Fire started and we ordered our food. Mitch got some chicken while I got a salad. The movie was great and the experience was even greater!!!! I wish every Movie Theater was like this one but not as expensive!

The day before Thanksgiving Lydibug started walking all on her own!!! We all were so excited and happy for her!
We also go to go to Bailees' school to participate in the Turkey trot, where they ran around the entire school!
On Thanksgiving we had stuffing, turkey, Raspberry jello with creme cheese (AMAZING), Pumpkin pie, chocolate mint cheesecake, rolls, and mashed potatoes!! The day was very relaxing.

That night Vanna and I went to Target (part of the early black friday crowd.) I really enjoyed this time with my sister, She found everything that she wanted to get and I ended up leaving with a pair of jammies for Lydibug.

Also while in AZ we went and saw the Mesa Temple Lights, they have such great nativity things and lights. Lydia and Stockton sure were enjoying themselves. Some other things we did while there included Watching some movies on the projection screen and eating at the Organ Stop!!!

We had such a great time in Arizona we didn't want to leave!! We also learned a lot from the Andersons and came home with new goals to be better parents and family.

Thanks Andersons for such a great time!!
