Lydia just turned one!! Look how much she's grown.

A 1st Birthday

Lydibug turned 1!!

On her special day we relaxed because Mitchel stayed home sick. While Lydibug napped I went grocery shopping and returned to go to Activity day's where we had a big birthday party for the girls leaving. Lydibug enjoyed playing with the balloons and watching the girls open gifts.

We had a birthday dinner at Zupas. Lots of soup for lydibug and strawberries, YUM. Then we had a nice Caramel dessert.

Her Birthday gift from Dad and Mom was getting her ears pierced. What fun..  but sad to see her cry. Even grandma happend to be at the mall and got to see her. I love her new diamond flower Earrings.

We came home and invited Mitchel's family over for cake and ice cream. Lydibug was quite the lady and stayed pretty clean as she ate her cake. It was a delicious oreo cookies and cream cake.
After that she played with some balloons.

12 MONTHS

When did my baby become a toddler???

Lydibug is not a baby anymore and has become a very independent little girl.

Her one year molars have just cut through and on top of that she got her first ear infection plus a cold. She was so miserable, it was sad.

She takes one nap during the day now and has been sleeping better at night. We like to get the mail everyday and she loves being outside. She will even stand at the door saying please, or bring me her squeaky shoes.
She likes to run with her hands out like Frankenstein. Her favorite came is peek a boo, or hide and seek.

Lydibug can now sign Sleep, and Dog. She even says it, I've also heard her say stop, cat and she doesn't say this too much any more but she still says "whats that?"

Well like I said before she is independent. She has become very picky on what she has decided to eat lately and she has to feed her self as well. So some of her new foods this month include, Grilled cheese, Cinnamon toast, Stroganoff, and Pumpkin bread. Her favorite drink at the moment is some watered down Mango Juice.
