On Valentines day this year Mitch had work from eleven to seven and I had the day off. Lydia and I spent the day deep cleaning but an hour before Mitch was due home we got some take out Chinese food and bought some small boxes of chocolate, there wasn't any sparkling cider so I got use some soda instead.
When Mitchel came home we had a lovely dinner and he surprised me with my favorite chocolates in a big heart shaped box and some yellow flowers.
After we put Lydia to bed we watched a movie.
This year it felt more low key but I loved it any way because I got to spend it with the ones I love.
