This past Saturday we had a Henderson Family Reunion at a LDS camp site in Heber, where I got to meet more family and get to know others better.
Yummy food was involved as well as an interesting program full of songs and bird stories, grandpas old acordian, movies of bush jumping, and banjo playing. Games like frisbee, baseball, football, penny hunt for the little kids as well as nail polish. It was quite fun and nice to see family.
Our cousin Rob and his wife Heather had extra spots open, for a group going scuba diving at a place called The Crater. It is located in Midway inside an old volcano. So Mitch, Kade, cousin Tyce and friend all got to go Scuba Diving. As badly as I wanted to join I only got to soak my feet in the hot spring water.
The instructor Ed was pretty cool. Usually you are only supposed to go about 40 feet down, these guys went 55feet down and the farthest you can go is about 60feet. Kades Goggles lense broke at about 40feet down so the instructor gave him his and returned to the surface for more. At one point of time they saw the instructor swim through some rings so they all thought it was play time and split up! :) the instructor had to keep flashing his light to get all their attention, but he sure enjoyed this group!!
I hope that someday I get to join these guys in doing this.
