Yeah we got a kitty.
We both are dog people but we got a kitty because Mitchels coworker was giving their kittens away.
Mitch will only have a cat if it's a cool cat. We decided to name her Snickers. She is very playful and cute.
Currently she is living at the inlaws house because my mom doesnt want her at her house and my sister is allergic.

Birthday Boy
Mitchel Shira turned 26 on wednesday!!! holy cow i'm married to an old man.
One year ago on his birthday I surprised him by showing up at JDawgs for lunch with his work buddies there all ready, after I took a pregnancy test and didnt tell him the result till he got home... Yep 1 year ago today we found out we were pregnant with Lydia!!!
We celebrated by going to mi ranchitos and watching men in black 3.
This year I surprised Mitch with lunch and took him to Costa Vida. We both had delicious salads. After dropping him back off at work I went and picked up a birthday cake for him and have been trying to find people to go see Star Trek with us but everyone is busy at that time, so I invited some friends to come early for some cake. Well the three people that did show up sat around for a bit. Mitch called to say he was sitting at a light that was backed up and the car behind him hit him. Dont worry he is perfectly fine. I was upset a bit. After more waiting two of our friend had to leave and they just missed him, but the other friend stayed and was able to see Mitch.
After that we got ready and went to see the movie Star Trek where two of our friends and some of Mitchels family met up with us. The movie was AMAZING!!!
Overall I think he had a great day minus the accident.

Goblin Valley
What a vacation!!! prepare for pictures!!
Friday we packed up our gear, Mitch and his two youngest brothers and one of their friends came with us, that night we drove which felt like forever to find the "perfect" camping spot. We arrived at about 8pm. My favorite part of camping is the stars and camp fire so i was exciting for dusk. Lydia loved the fire and enjoyed talking to it.
Saturday we went to Goblin Valley and spent about 4 hours there. I loved the place it was so awesome!! Lydibug loved the carrier we got and would make sounds to the rythm of the bounce, The kids were running and jumping around with the dog Jynx. Apparently they discovered this place they like to call the Castle and so Mitchel helped me get up there, it was a little tricky but mostly scarey to me just to get there. Very cool place!! We had lunch at the pavillion but the wind was blowing like crazy, So we went back to our camp which was about 30min drive from there.
We rested in the shade of a tree for about an hour and then the boys started playing around while Lydibug and I stayed in the tent playing. That night at 7:30 we went back to the Valley of Goblins to meet up with my mother in law and other brother in law. we had tinfoil steak and potatoes for dinner it was the best steak i've had in a while.
Sunday we had a great breakfast eggs, baccon, hasbrowns, and sausage. Mitchel wanted to hike to a mountain we could see, and go on the Wild Horse Trail. We brought lunch and I was just dying on this hike. The whole time I was ready for lunch. Some of the boys went ahead of us and after about 2hrs of walking they came back and said the mountain was way too far away to keep going. THANKFULLY! so we had lunch and I was again so ready to go back to camp. I know i'm outta shape. Well the boys were up on the mountain next to us and could see camp so they decided to walk on the top back to camp. I was affraid we would go only so far and find out it would just end up being a cliff. In the end It was a much quicker walk and it never dropped. We got back to camp and decided we were all too tired to go to Goblin Valley again. The rest of the day was spent chilling out and playing some games.
Monday, we packed up all of our stuff and on our way out we decided to go to Goblin Valley again but at the last second we changed our minds and drove to the Wild Horse Trail.
Of the entire trip that was the best part. As you walk the trail it gets smaller and smaller.
We were unable to do the whole trail because we had to get home. so right before we came back the boys spider climbed this steep looking nook and at the top found a little pond of water they splashed in.
On the way home we had mexican food to celebrate My mother in laws birthday!
We had such a great trip!! p.s. I lost 5lbs on this trip. yippie

4 MONTHS
What a month!!! She currently weighs in at 14 lbs 14oz and is 25 inches long
Lydibug and I have been going on walks and we both love it. She enjoys looking at all the different plants and trees we walk by, but quickly falls asleep. I also started working again and she enjoys spending that special time with her daddy, but I don't like being away from her for too long though it feels great at the same time.
She's been sleeping in the crib for over a month and will sleep for almost the whole night.
In this past month Lydibug has found her THUMB again, she loves to chew/suck on her left thumb more but will ocasionally use the right. It is so cute listening to her chatter and try to talk to us, my favorite is when she makes the R sound because it makes me think of pirates. Grandma Hill and I got her to blow raspberries which she'll do every once in awhile. She absolutely loves to stand and sit while holding our fingers. Every once in awhile she will talk to the telivision too.
Earlier this month Lydibug rolled from her back to her belly then we didnt see her do it for about a week. Then one day I layed her down and she rolled over and quickly got mad that she was on her belly. Silly girl!!!! Anytime we lay her down it only takes a few mini seconds and she's on her belly complaining, Now we are working on teaching her to roll from belly to back. Lydibug doesn't like to be left in the living room while we are a few feet away in the kitchen, so she "cruises" in her little car where she can see us. It's more like just play with the toys on it and we pull her around.
Also recently she started to giggle. It is so cute but doesn't last long!! I can't wait to hear the uncontrolable laughter!
So proud of my little girl

Mothers Day
What a WONDERFUL DAY!!!
It all started with church, we had a great lesson, chocolate fountain, spin the wheel and sun flower seeds.
After church Mitch gave me the best gift! a Willow Tree figurine.
I then asked Mitch for a ride on the motorcycle, It was very enjoyable. Next I wanted to go on a walk as a family, which was also great. I love walks, just not when it's super hot.
We visited grandma Henderson and Lydia loved her. They played for awhile and we got another four generation picture.
As tradition we finished the evening with Mitchel mom at Golden Corral for dinner.
It was a really great Mothers day!!!

New Ride
We couldnt afford an SUV like I wanted so we opted for a Motorcycle instead. I was pretty shakey on the idea. Now that i've had a couple of rides I LOVE IT!!!! I'd like to ride it everyday if I could.
So here it is... Mitchels new ride to work.
