34 weeks

So I have not been very good at writing about this pregnancy so let me try and do a recap/ run down.

First trimester
I was extremely tired all the time after work and I was usually nauseous the first half of the day. Mitch was a trooper! He did so much cleaning, cooking, and playing with Lydia while I just sat around (or that's how I felt). I did not like however the smell or taste of onions and garlic. At the end of my first trimester however I did come down with the flu, So I lost some weight the first trimester.

Second trimester
I felt so dandy! I had more energy and a better appetite. My belly started to show at about 20 weeks and I started to feel baby around 17ish weeks. Once as I started feeling our little one it became quite clear that this babe is a night owl!! I slept fine but just more uncomfortably.
In this trimester I have craved lots of baked goods, i've made banana bread, several cakes and cup cakes, muffins,  and brownies from work. We had our ultrasound during this trimester and got to see the babe. What a cutie!

Third trimester
Well it's not over yet, but so far I'm more tired and I pee a lot. I keep wanting to make rice crispy treats and muddy buddies. The thought of water melon makes my mouth water and the thought of chicken cheese rice makes me sick.
at my 32 week appointment I weighed 151lbs!! that's 10lbs less then I weighed at 32 weeks with Lydia!!! This trimester I brought some concerns to the doctor and she prescribed me some depression pills that I can start taking when I"m ready...... I'm nervous to take them. I'm still happy me but there are days where it just gets really bad.
The past maybe two weeks I've been having very noticeable Braxton Hicks contractions and they are so annoying at times but whats worse is the Lightning Crotch I get when I'm at work!!! ugh!!!

This pregnancy I have noticed that I might possibly be a little over worried about things. There was a time where I didn't feel the baby move as much but just drank some stuff and did some kick counts and the baby was fine. I keep having days where I realize I haven't felt the baby move all day and I really start to get worried, then i'll finally feel the baby move and second guess it.  Like I said before this child is active when I want to be sleeping.  Mitchel has finally felt the baby move a couple weeks back. I love when he gets to feel the baby too and I think he doesn't feel it enough.

Dentist

A while ago Lydibug had an accident while she was being babysat by a friend. Well we took her to the doctor and he suggested seeing a dentist too. So we had our FIRST trip to the dentist and we all enjoyed the experience.  They were very nice and had the coolest things to distract her while she waited. Our favorite thing was this floor that had games on it, She could play football, soccer, color, pop the bubbles and tons more. She was a little nervous when the dentist looked at her gums but she stayed still and got a token and a coin for more prizes.  So in the end we are told to just let it heal on it's own. We are so going back to this dentist.

Mothers Day

For mothers day I only asked for a nice family dinner. Well Mitchel bought me this beautiful red dress with shrug, necklace and matching earrings and he forgot about the dinner. Silly man! During church I made a spur of the moment decision to go to provo and visit my mom on mothers day! We left church a little early and first made a stop at Golden Coral to eat with Mitchels mom. When we arrived at my parents house we hid around the corner and let Lydibug knock on the door. It was a pleasant surprise for my parents. We chatted with them and Lydia red books and got to play with the big ball. I really enjoyed mothers day because it was spent with the people I love most!!!!!

Animal Days

On Saturday we finally got to go to Animal days!!!

Mitch was unable to make it so it was just Lydia and I.
We first went on a pony ride... (Her Favorite), Then on a train ride. Some of the animals we saw included, Sheep, Hens, Chicks, Ducks, cows, and horses. The only thing we didn't see was the Buffalo.

Easter

This year a week before easter we had a big easter egg hunt with our apartment complex, They had breakfast, an easter bunny, and a fire truck.

Lydia had so much fun running around getting eggs, but she didn't like the easter bunny. She would wave at him from far away but refused to go closer.
On Easter we were with my family and my dad had eggs hidden around the house for her to find when she woke up. She had fun gathering them and putting them in a sack. Here are some of our photos.

Potty training

One sunday in march I decided we should potty train Lydia while Mitch was on spring break.
So I bought her some undies, we already had a pink princess potty seat that goes on the big toilet and we started training on a thursday.
The first two days she went naked and any time she started peeing we would run her to the bathroom. On day three we bought a potty that goes on the floor so she could get to it easier. After we bought it though we went to a park, so the first time she actually used the potty by herself was in the back of Mitchels truck at the park. :D

Any time she attempted to go she got a small princess sticker for her elmo chart and any time she actually made it she got a big animal sticker for her other chart, a candy, and a potty dance. She caught on quickly!

Yippie Go LYDIA!!!

20 Weeks

I'm getting bigger and feeling the baby more but mostly at night or when I lay down. This time around i'm trying to not gain as much extra weight and I am not doing so good at exercising but I hope to get in the habit.

We had the opportunity to get an ultrasound and all go together as a family. Lydia knew exactly what we were looking at on the screen..... a baby!. The ultrasound technician did a great job and we got to see our cute little one. Everything is looking good so far and baby is measuring on track. We did not find out the gender this time around, she had us close our eyes when she checked that area, but Lydia tells us it's a brother.
Baby's heart rate was at 149.
Here are some cute photos!!!
